Suitable for the aspiration, re-condensation and purification of oil mist and dust generated during dry and humid machining processing.

Serie ARNO

2000 was an important year for AR FILTRAZIONI, which set itself a clear objective: to design and manufacture a product to meet the needs of intensive production processes (3 shifts, 7 days a week) with the aim of satisfying the requirements of the market in terms of robust construction and maintenance, and stand out from the competition.

2001 saw the start of testing of the new ARNO series, a new high quality generation, completely “Made in Italy”; the results were outstanding and led directly to our leading position in the industry, which we hold even today.

Today we make ten standard series of products, with more than 15000 systems sold worldwide; the ARNO series is without doubt our core product.

The ARNO series is composed of 3 sub-series, each dedicated specifically to machines using full or emulsified oil in the process. Each of these offers four sizes of purifier, running from 850 to 4000 m³/h air flow.

The series has been on the market for 15 years now, and fully satisfies the requirements of intensive production: compact, robust, efficient, infrequent, quick and easy maintenance, regulated by a visual filter clogging indicator, absolutely compliant with established regulations, it is appreciated by the most prestigious aerospace, aeronautics, automotive, precision mechanical engineering, medical and jewellery manufacturers, among many others.

Equipped with a high and very high efficiency filtration stage, EN 1822 compliant, it ensures filtration of up to 99.995% of particles > 0.15 µ (note that the mean diameter of fumes particles is always < 1 µ).

SUITABILITY

Indicated for the extraction, re-condensation and purification of the oil mists and dusts generated during dry and wet machining, the ARNO series is ideal for purifying particles of variable sizes by simply using interchangeable filters of different filtration efficiencies. Extreme modularity means:

  • Preliminary re-condensation and recovery of the cooling/lubrication fluid and 95% reduction of particles in the 0.4 µ range with the basic series;
  • capture of even the most challenging micro-dust, micro-mist and fumes, thanks to a variety of solutions with high (EPA filter) and very high (HEPA filter) filtration efficiencies;
  • collection of excessive pollutant fluid with pre-filtration stages of different types, depending on the application;
  • Reduction of exhalations and odours thanks to a further active charcoal stage.

The Plus series is equipped with a motor thermal cut out and visual filter clogging indicator. Equipped with drainage, it allows recovery of around 78% of the condensed fluid.

X Stage Reduction pre-chamber in which the air speed is reduced, thus depositing all rough and excess pollutants (swarf, lubricant/coolant)

1° Stage Self-cleaning centrifugal re-condenser for recovery of around 78% of the re-condensed lubricant/coolant.

2° Stage Pre-filtration per EN779 with a metal filter, blocks any remaining swarf and further drains any airborne oil. Filtration efficiency > 95% - particles with volume 3µµ

3° Stage Coalescence effect filtration, using an EN779 compliant pocket filter with progressive granulometry fibre; large surface area expressed in square metres. Filtration efficiency > 95% - particles with volume 0.4µ

4° Stage Coalescence filter diffuser/soundproofing with labyrinth structure which blocks airborne humidity, this protecting the final, most important filter.

5° Stage Final high (EPA) or very high (HEPA) efficiency filter, the FILTER that protects respiration, compliant with EN1822. Filtration efficiency > 99.995% - particles with volume 0.15µ AN ACTIVE CHARCOAL CELL CAN BE USED AS THE LAST STAGE TO REDUCE ANY NOXIOUS EXHALATIONS AND ODOURS.

THE AVERAGE MAINTENANCE TIMES ARE THE OUTCOME OF STATISTICS RESULTING FROM THE THOUSANDS OF SYSTEMS MAINTAINED BY AR FILTRAZIONI EVERY YEAR AT OUR CLIENTS' PREMISES.

The maintenance is very easy, once a year and it is controlled by a device to monitor filter conditions.

Manometro ARNO

AR Filtrazioni can do the maintenance of the filters and has technicians who assist the clients in whole Europe.

AR FILTRAZIONI also offers an annual on-site maintenance service to our clients, with our specialised technicians, and issues a maintenance certificate on completion of the work. In an industry in which production times are a critical cost factor, (the downtime of an NC machine tool results in loss of production and hence loss of profit), maintenance and maintenance times represent a competitive advantage over the competition.
Extreme modularity allows for gradual investments and the possibility of offering the best solution to each client, even from the point of view of cost. Modularisation is the key to the company's product offering. This is the outcome of multiple complementary needs. As said above, in the design of our products and services we aim, in our already niche market, to solve problems related to air pollution in intensive production workshops, working 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. modularità depuratori arno For such clients, robustness, reliability, low, easy maintenance without downtime - these are the key considerations, which no-one was meeting at the time. Consider that in the automotive industry, both image and compliance with all health and safety regulations, internally and outside the company, are of absolute importance. In other words, our mission was and is: "Making clean air". This has been made possible by aiming at high quality components throughout. But there is more. We have designed our equipment with multiple stages, of which the last (by law) is able to retain particles with micron volume of less than zero.

We're talking about real savings: here are the results of our calculations…”

  • Lower energy consumption motor, class IE3
  • Filter clogging indicator - reports the real condition of the filters to the operator at all times;
  • Exchange filters: 20% self-cleaning – 40% washable – 20% with annual replacement –20% with replacement very 2/3 years;
  • Recovery of around 78% of the re-condensed lubricant/coolant, which can be returned either directly or indirectly to the machine, or stored in containers for use at a later time.
  • Energy savings of 415.00 euro for a single unit (assuming a temperature differential of 15°C during the winter) with 1700 m3/h air flow.
  • Longer lasting mechanical and electronic equipment of the machine tool. The air purifier, by subjecting the machine tool to underpressure, constantly extracts the pollutant, thus keeping the machining enclosure clean at all times.
  • Constant quality of the machined parts: a constant temperature inside the machine prevent thermal expansion of metal components; the total lack of vibration of the air purifier also ensures unbeatably precise machining.
  • CO2 emissions reduced by 9000 kg/year, for each installed unit with 1700 m3/h air flow, thanks to the significant savings obtained by not expelling hot air outdoors.
  • Switching cost: selecting a good solutions straight away avoids costly replacements down the line.

RESIDUAL CONCENTRATION OF POLLUTANT AT THE PURIFIER OUTLET < 0.1 MG/M³

We advise our clients, when all machines are equipped with purifiers, and one time only, to run a certified third party environmental analysis. In companies which have done so, the certifying bodies have confirmed that the residual pollutant concentration in the workshop runs at around 0.1 mg/m³. Note that the values accepted by local health authorities vary from region to region. However, in general a value of 0.5 - 1 mg/m³ is considered acceptable (Norme EN 1822 Corso Uniaria).

CONFORMITY WITH LOMBARDY REGIONAL GOVERNMENT REGULATIONS

Refer to the official bulletin, ordinary series n. 2 – 10 January 2012, headed: “B) Extracted emissions treated with on-board filters and returned to the workplace.
